“People who are on the verge of losing their homes or are filing for bankruptcy may think that’s the end of the road for them,” Garcia says. “But there are legal ways to help them.”
Mr. Garcia has successfully stopped foreclosure on homes and protected assets for hundreds of clients. He has many tools to assist clients in keeping their property during the bankruptcy process. By using the bankruptcy law, automatic stay, he can prevent creditors from collecting on debts and defend his client’s property. Saving homes from foreclosure and protecting assets is the most rewarding part of Jesse Garcia’s job as an attorney at Lee Law Firm.
“I am a big believer in home ownership,” Garcia says. “For the majority of people, a home is the biggest investment they will ever make, and it is the key element to building wealth and establishing credit. That’s why helping clients save their homes from foreclosure is the most worthwhile part of my job.”
In his free time, Jesse Garcia is an avid golfer. He enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his family. Mr. Garcia is a proud father to his one year old son, and loves being with his whole family.
Mr. Garcia received his bachelor of science in Criminal Justice and Political Science from Texas State University in 2003. He obtained his J.D., in 2008, from the Thurgood School of Law at Texas Southern University.
After graduation, is interest in mortgage and property law lead him to join the law firm of Allmand & Lee. His invaluable experience while at Allmand & Lee afforded him the chance to help many people reclaim a financially solid future. As prominent member of the Lee Law Firm, Mr. Garcia knows that each client’s financial situation has different struggles and challenges. His approach is to get to know each client’s situation individually and make it his personal mission to help them regain control over their financial status.
“Bankruptcy is an important and stressful decision and I feel my understanding of the clients’ financial challenges helps them through the process,” he says. “I feel that my ability to relate to and understand many of the issues our clients face helps me tremendously in my work.”
Mr. Garcia became a licensed member of the Texas Bar Association in 2008. He holds memberships in the North Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas Bar Association, the Tarrant County Bar Association, the National Associate of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. He specializes in mortgage modification work and bankruptcy. Mr. Garcia is licensed to practice law before the United States District Courts in the Northern District of Texas.
