Beware of the “Obama Student Loan Forgiveness” Scam!
:
When starting to consider the repayment of their student loans many students look to Google for any way of getting some student loan forgiveness and many actually come across sites and businesses that offer what is usually termed “Obama Student Loan Forgiveness Programs”.
Be aware that these sites have absolutely nothing to do with the Federal Government and promise something that on the surface would be next to impossible to deliver. The real problem is that many of these sites have programs that are worded to closely resemble a very real student loan directive that Obama actually did sign into action more than 2 years ago. The bulk of the companies offering this loan forgiveness are actually just offering the opportunity to assist you in filling out forms and paperwork to realize the benefits of a program that you can easily access yourself with a bit of search engine savvy and some dedication. In fact, you can find the official Federal Student Aid forgiveness page here.
There are many programs designed to help you pay off the loans faster and with less headaches but as yet there is absolutely no program that will give you 100% loan forgiveness, whether it has the name Obama attached to it or not. For any questions you may have about student loans or bankruptcy or any other financial inquiries call a local qualified bankruptcy attorney in Texas and get the information you need and deserve.
