It seems that tax season approaches quicker each year. It won't be long before the pressure of preparing our taxes will be upon us, and many of us have even been dealing with debt liabilities from years past. Fortunately, there are several ways to resolve tax debt.
The IRS offers a few solutions for those experiencing trouble repaying their tax debts. An installment plan may allow you to pay off your debt in a series of smaller payments, over the course of several years. For others, an IRS settlement may be obtained in an Offer In Compromise. However, dealing with the IRS is not always easy, and for many people may prove unsuccessful.
Luckily, we can help! Not only can we help you deal with the IRS in negotiations for a solution, we may even be able to have your tax debts discharged in a bankruptcy. That’s right! Contrary to what you may have heard, some tax debts are eligible for relief in bankruptcy.
The Lee Law Firm does it all; from tax preparation, to negotiations with the IRS, and even eliminating debts in bankruptcy. Let us help you with your taxes this New Year!
What Clients Are Saying
" A short time ago, I lost a six figure job. I tried to hold on thinking my financial situation would improve. I did everything I could to make ends meet with an income that was 60% less than what I was used to earning. The bills started to mount and the calls started to come in. My marriage became strained and I did not know where to turn.
One day, while driving to work, I heard a commercial for Lee Law Firm. I called the number and figured I would just check it out. I walked into the office for my initial consultation and before I ever spoke to anyone, I felt a calm that came over me. As I proceeded with the consultation and all of my options were presented to me, I knew I had come to the right place. The staff was extremely caring, understanding and helpful. My case is not yet complete, but working with the staff gives me great comfort and relief.
For the first time in a long time, I feel like I am back in control again. I have peace of mind over my finances and am thankful that I contacted your office. --DB

Money Management Tips
Financial resolutions for the New Year, do you have them? The start of a new year is the time when people sit down and make goals for the upcoming months. Many people focus on things like losing weight, making more time for family, quitting bad habits and the like. While some people like to make resolutions to improve their financial lives, most people have little practice in following through. Luckily, there are a few easy ways to make you more likely to stick to your financial goals.
First, put it on paper. Write down a list of your financial goals for the New Year and how you plan to accomplish them. Post them somewhere you commonly spend a lot of time to ensure you see them every day. This helps keep your money and your promises in the front of your mind.
Second, work smarter not harder. There are plenty of online and Smartphone applications to help make budgeting and saving a breeze. Websites like mint.com offer free budgeting tools that can even alert you when you are nearing your spending limit for the month. Most banks offer apps for phones that can put you in touch with your balance, and allow you to make transfers into your savings account.
Last, reward yourself for achieving small advances towards your goal. Allow yourself to be rewarded for your hard work along the way. If you have been saving money by eliminating unnecessary purchases like expensive coffee on the way to work, go ahead and treat yourself to a cup of Starbucks once a month as a treat. It is important that you don’t over-deprive yourself if you want to be successful in the long run, just make sure you are keeping in line with your monthly budget as well.
